Why a Wellness Training Program?
For all employers, investing in wellbeing is smart business.1 Why should an enterprise care about wellbeing beyond the traditional HR metrics and EAP services? Because these have failed to produce a healthier, more engaged workplace. In addition, health care employer insurance costs have risen as much as 78% since 2001, according to a 2007 Kaiser Family Foundation study.
Creating a Comprehensive, Tailored Culture of Wellness
Arcadia Wellness Partners, LLC, uses a whole-person, comprehensive, tailored approach to employee health problems. Partnering with our trainers, employees use the 12 dimensions of the integrated, proven Wellness Inventory® to analyze their attitudes and behaviors at work and at play, as well as while exercising, eating, and communicating.
The Wellness Inventory® helps employees recognize their wellness strengths and weaknesses and identify two or three primary individualized goals. The Inventory explains how to realize those goals through concrete action steps. The program’s dated progress markers boost employee confidence, sense of accomplishment, and willingness to strive for progress.
Every Arcadia wellness program focuses on measurable, sustainable, overall health improvement and disease prevention. To that end, Arcadia’s user-friendly material elicits optimal employee engagement and buy-in long after our trainers have completed their assignment at your enterprise.
Arcadia uses a proprietary goal sheet that enables employees to tailor their action steps to findings from the latest studies on healthy and effective weight loss and exercise. Mini-modules blended into the training give participants stress management pointers and tips on healthier workplace interactions.
